We had been talking to another major Italian manufacturer of mulching mowers and we found although their product was well fi nished and it had a very popular name at the time, the units were a little bit on the light side for our market in NZ and the company itself did not seem very friendly or reliable to deal with. we were looking for a reliable manufacturer of mulching mowers, and had Berti company recommended to us with the words at the time being “although they are a smaller company, I think you will fi nd them very reliable and good people to work with” 2. The ability to manufacture a wide range of mulching mowers at a reasonable price, to a high standard of quality and also the willingness to modify machines to suit our specifi c demands or applications.
