BERTI Macchine Agricole - Monografia aziendale

the shovel and loader bucket per grapes, the paleta and the muleto. However, the product that actually left a mark in the Company’s history is the mulcher, the magnaerba. The first model, with an horizontal axis, was made in 1972 and was called SFIPO; the first lateral mulcher, called TAB, was made in 1979: this was both a product and the prototype of the current TA range. In 1986 the SFIPO model is replaced by the TFB/Y model, a vehicle which is still our flagship product today in terms of quality and efficiency. Along with mulchers, in 1987 the production grows and includes undercarriage bar loaders, the carei. In 1989 the range is extended with hydraulic stalk mulchers and special applications for earth-moving machinery. In the 90s the Berti family decides to transform its generic production into a highly specialised manufacturing business, precisely that of mulchers for professional maintenance and reclamation of agricultural and urban green areas and forestland. The year 2003 represents a crucial moment, as the first loader-mulcher for the energy recovery of biomasses, called PICKER/C, is made. The most common agricultural biomasses are forestry residues and residues from wood processing (twigs, branches, prunings). Transforming them into alternative energy gives them value and this also creates an economy. History, technological evolution and new services. It is with all this that we have made, but more importantly we count on making the difference! What you have just read is only part of the history of our business and of our family, but we wanted to show you at least a small part of how our products have grown in quality and quantity together with us. Today we are a limited liability company with a surface of over 15,000 sq m, with retailers and importers all over the world, but the family feeling that marked our history has remained, proudly, unchanged. 9
